Professional Employer Organization Platform (PEO)

The PEO service platform offered through Personnel Management, Inc. (PMI) provides a comprehensive and integrated solution for small and mid-size businesses for employer-related obligations and responsibilities. Through a reasonably simple business arrangement, the business owner maintains control over employees and normal business operations, and, at the same time, shifts most, if not all, of the burdens and risks associated with being an employer to PMI.

This arrangement is generally referred to as a co-employment agreement. Under this agreement, PMI contractually assumes substantial responsibilities and risks of the employer. Some of the risks and responsibilities assumed by or shared with PMI are:
